Admin Web UI
http://127.0.0.1:8765/admin for configuring providers, models, agents, OAuth accounts, the MCP gateway, the proxy itself, SearXNG and web search. It is a local React app served by the tray process — no JSON editing required, and nothing is exposed beyond loopback.Last updated Reviewed against Prism v0.3.26
Opening it
Open http://127.0.0.1:8765/admin in any browser, or choose Open Settings from the system tray menu. The admin server always binds loopback; change the port with PRISM_ADMIN_PORT if 8765 is taken.
The ten tabs
| Section | Tab | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Connect | Connect | Live service URLs and status, the full endpoint reference with auth flags, the MCP aggregate and per-agent URLs, the shared token, and copy-paste examples. |
| Configuration | Provider | Add and edit upstream providers and API keys, and set the default provider. |
| Configuration | Models | Build the model catalog: search models.dev or Ollama Cloud to auto-fill limits and capabilities, assign providers, set aliases and the default model. |
| Configuration | Agents | Detected agents with one-click Setup, Disable and re-sync. Also where per-tier Claude Code models are chosen. |
| Integrations | OAuth | Add and remove OpenAI/Codex accounts, activate one, and view session and weekly usage. |
| Integrations | MCP | The server marketplace, your installed servers, transports and auth, and per-agent access. |
| Integrations | Proxy | Proxy status, start / stop / restart, ports, the Start at Login toggle, debug logs and the telemetry toggle. |
| Integrations | SearXNG | Start, stop and restart the managed metasearch instance, toggle its auto-start, and edit its settings. |
| Integrations | Search | Choose the active web search provider, order the fallback chain, set limits, and test a query. |
| Analytics | Stats | Live throughput, token usage, client breakdown, TPS history and the local stats database. |
The Connect panel
The Connect tab is the fastest way to see how to point something at Prism. It assembles everything from local state, so "running" means exactly what the tray believes.
| It shows | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Service cards for the proxy, admin UI and SearXNG | One place with the real URLs and their current status. |
| Endpoint reference with an auth flag per route | Which routes need the prism token and which are open, such as /v1/models. |
| MCP aggregate and per-agent URLs | Copy the exact /mcp or /mcp/<agent> endpoint for the agent you are configuring. |
| The shared token | The value to paste as the API key, so you never have to remember it is literally prism. |
| Copy-paste examples | Request snippets you can run immediately to verify a connection. |
Auto-restart and live sync
Saving a change restarts the proxy automatically — there is no manual stop and start. Changes are written to config.json and model_remapping.json, and hand edits to those files are picked up within seconds in the other direction.
